Sound Income Group, based in Fort Lauderdale, seeks a Fee Billing & Advisor Compensation Analyst to join the Accounting team. The role supports full billing cycles, including calculation, processing, reconciliation, collection, and distribution, with high-volume, deadline-driven processes.

The ideal candidate has RIA or financial services experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong attention to detail to ensure accurate fee activity and timely payouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, STEM, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services operations, billing, reconciliation, or related function.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with large data sets.
• Experience performing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Fee Billing & Advisor Support: handle advisor inquiries, maintain 400–600 fee records monthly, configure fee codes in Black Diamond, and manage Salesforce dashboards.
• Back-End Billing & Compensation: run monthly billing cycle, coordinate with custodians and vendors, prepare payout spreadsheets, and post compensation statements.
• Revenue Analysis & Process Improvement: analyze revenue trends, generate reports, collaborate with Controller, and improve billing workflows and controls.
