Job summary

Orca is seeking a DevOps Lead (FedRAMP) to own and evolve Orca's federal cloud security program. You will be the senior engineer for the FedRAMP environment, writing infrastructure code, setting standards, and driving automation to simplify compliance.

You will lead a small US-based team over time and interface with federal customers, agency security teams, and our Israel-based R&D. A strong background in production-grade cloud platforms is required.

Qualifications

Hands-on DevOps/SRE with production ownership in cloud infra.
Experience with FedRAMP/regulated environments is a plus.
Strong scripting and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Build and operate Orca's FedRAMP environment across AWS GovCloud, AWS East/West, Azure Government, Azure Commercial, and GCP.
Write the infrastructure code yourself and set coding standards.
Design automation to make compliance a byproduct of system run, including continuous validation and inventory accuracy.
Decide how new platform capabilities land in the federal environment and implement them cleanly.
Own production health, monitoring, and incident response for the environment.
Run continuous monitoring end to end, including scanning, POA&M, inventory, and reporting.
Lead annual assessment and 3PAO engagements from scoping to closing findings.
Be Orca's interface to the FedRAMP PMO, agency sponsor, and assessors.
Represent federal environment to customers in security reviews and audits.
