Job summary

Orca Security is seeking a DevOps Lead (FedRAMP) to own the FedRAMP environment and be the most senior engineer in our federal space. You will direct infrastructure, authorization, and agency relations, while coding and guiding the build at scale.

As a builder with hands-on ownership, you will shape automation, OSCAL readiness, and continuous validation. The role includes growing a US-based team and collaborating with sales, engineering, and customer success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with production ownership.
• Hands-on FedRAMP authorized system experience and understanding of authorization boundaries.
• Fluency in security standards (NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5) and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Orca’s FedRAMP environment across AWS GovCloud, AWS East/West, Azure Gov, Azure Commercial, and GCP.
• Write infrastructure code and set company standards for its development.
• Design automation to make compliance a byproduct of operations.
• Lead annual assessment and 3PAO engagements, from scoping to closure.
• Be Orca’s technical voice to federal customers and partners.
