Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Security Associate to protect assets and associates within our distribution center environments. This role focuses on access control, incident reporting, and ensuring safety and compliance across daily operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of security experience, familiarity with DC procedures, and the ability to adapt to a Monday–Friday schedule. Prior experience with FedFlo, EDI/ASN systems is a plus, and discretion is essential.

Qualifications

• No specific Education required
• Knowledge of FedFlo, receiving system
• Understanding of technology EDI, ASN, Direct scan
• Must be able to maintain confidential information
• 2 years prior security experience
• Prior DC experience
• Monday-Friday Flexible Schedule- Discuss at Interview

Responsibilities

• Completion of reports - Ex. inbound/outbound Trailer logs, common carrier logs, discrepancy reports
• Maintain access control of all who enter and exit the facility
• Respond to alarm system
• Conduct audits on common carriers
• Monitor associates activities
• Monitor activities of visitors/truckers
• Enforce all facility rules and regulations
• Any other functions management deems essential
