Position Description

The Involvement Assistant serves as a front‑line representative of the Office of Student Engagement and supports the daily operations of the Student Involvement Center. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service while assisting students with basic involvement processes and promoting campus engagement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front‑desk coverage and deliver high‑quality customer service to all visitors, students, and staff.
  • Answer phones, respond to questions, and direct individuals to appropriate resources.
  • Assist students and organizations with involvement processes, including re‑registration of student orgs, event procedures, resource check‑out/check‑in, and general questions about starting a student organization.
  • Support the daily operations of the Student Involvement Center, including space upkeep and resource management.
  • Assist with social programming and engagement initiatives led by the Office of Student Engagement.
  • Distribute incoming mail/packages and assist with basic administrative tasks.
  • Complete assigned projects and support professional staff as needed.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.
