UTMB Health is seeking a Student Research Assistant in Galveston to support interprofessional education and simulation research projects. You will help develop literature reviews, manage publications in Zotero, and assist with data cleaning and analysis under mentorship from Dr.
Kelly Grace. The role emphasizes education-based research, literature reviews, and manuscript preparation, with commensurate hours and potential for growth within the Office of Research, Evaluation, Assessment and
High School Diploma, UTMB Student enrolled at least half time.
Job Description:
The student will act as a research assistant with responsibilities related to interprofessional education and simulation research projects for the Health Education Center Office of research, Evaluation, Assessment and Medical Prototyping. The student should have interest in education-based research, and some background in research would be helpful even if coursework related (developing literature reviews, data collection and analysis, writing papers/publications). For specific research skills that are needed for research projects, training and mentoring will be provided by Dr. Kelly Grace, assistant Director for Departmental Research, REAMP.
