The Department of Educational Pathways encompasses a broad portfolio of student access and success initiatives, including Precollege Programs, Educational Opportunities Program, TRIO Student Support Services, TRIO Upward Bound, the College Assistance Migrant Program, the High School Equivalency Program, and Reaching Our Opportunities through STEM.
Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill two part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Employment positions within the Department of Educational Pathways for the 2026-2027 academic year. Student employees will gain practical, transferable skills through experiential work supporting departmental operations, student engagement, communications, outreach, event coordination, and special projects. The position provides opportunities to develop and apply career readiness competencies including professional communication, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, professionalism, technology, and career self-development. This position reports directly to the Director of Strategic Operations.
This position will work at a computer workstation, both standing and sitting, primarily in Waldo Hall with occasional errands around campus. This position does not include remote work. Scheduling will be within the hours of 8 am to 5 pm and is flexible around course schedule. Minimum of two days and 10 hours per week (maximum of 24 per regulations, but not likely to reach maximum hours). This position may be asked to lift boxes or equipment of approximately 40lbs.
