Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Lorton, VA is seeking a Test Engineer for an onsite role to support U.S. federal government missions.

You will perform system integration testing, SIT, UAT, and CMD tests, and develop both manual and automated test cases aligned with the approved Test Plan. You will collaborate with Test Leads to deliver status updates, manage test incidents, and evaluate testing tools while ensuring compliance with security clearances and SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related technical experience with Windows Server administration or system testing with automation.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processes.
• Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub/AzureDevOps).
• Experience with Windows Server technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Ability to support Microsoft Information Request SAF/AQ Project Order requirements.
• DOD 8140 baseline certification required on start.

Responsibilities

• Perform test events including SIDR, SIT, UAT, Site Validation, and Mission Acceptance testing.
• Conduct formal test reviews like Test Readiness and Post-Test Reviews.
• Develop and execute test strategy, verification, and validation activities.
• Create/manualize and/or automate test cases for the Test Plan.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects per Test Lead guidance.
• Execute tests per the approved Test Plan and track progress.
• Provide regular test status updates to the Test Lead.
• Log results into test management tools and monitor metrics.
• Evaluate testing software/tools and recommend improvements.
