Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Federal Subcontracts Administrator to lead subcontracting activities for services and construction on federal projects. You will manage bids, negotiations, and contract flow-downs, while coordinating with engineering and construction teams to ensure program success.

Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship and 4+ years in subcontracting/contract management across large projects; CPCM/CCFM certification is ideal. The role offers a hybrid work model and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Law, Engineering or other applicable field. Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
• At least 4 years experience in subcontracting and contract management on large projects (airports, dams, stadiums, etc).
• United States Citizenship.
• Ideally CPCM, CCCM, or CCFM Certification from NCMA or international equivalent.
• Direct experience with FAR/DFAR and agency supplements, or state/local contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of subcontracted services and administer subcontracts to meet project objectives.
• Manage professional/technical services or large construction subcontracts on projects.
• Track subcontract activity, progress information, and guidance to project personnel on issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and other disciplines for program effectiveness.
• Handle subcontract formation: prequalification, solicitation, evaluation, and negotiation of terms and pricing.
• Develop prime contract flow-downs and ensure inclusion in subcontracts.
• Obtain reviews/approvals of bidder exceptions, bid evaluations, and change orders before execution.
• Post-award duties: change order management, compliance, invoice verification, closeout and records retention.
