Job summary

Pegasus Support Services, LLC seeks a Stationary Engineer for the Zorinsky Federal Building in Omaha, Nebraska. Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of boiler and chiller systems, with ability to work on electrical equipment and follow SOPs to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, U.S. work authorization, and 2+ years of building operations experience, plus the ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Licensed as required by City of Omaha Permits & Inspection Division, Mechanical Section.
• Two+ years experience in physical plant and building operations including boiler/chiller systems.
• Understanding of US NEC.
• Knowledge of safety directives and policies for facility maintenance.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Ability to gain and maintain access to the worksite.
• Ability to pass government background check and obtain facility access.
• Must hold appropriate state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, repair and troubleshooting for boiler and chiller systems.
• Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and repairs in all assigned facilities.
• Supports maintenance, servicing, and repair of low/high voltage equipment.
• May conduct emergency services and repairs.
• Maintains Low-Pressure Steam and Hydronic Boiler systems.
• Follows safety and environmental directives.
• Maintains assigned tools and equipment.
• Physical ability to stand/walk, bend, squat, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Performs other duties as required.
