Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Security Architecture Specialist to support IT Enterprise Security Engineering. You will track ATO projects, document security strategies, and ensure controls align with NIST guidance while collaborating across IT and Security teams.

The role emphasizes coordinating with stakeholders, updating SOPs, and contributing to secure engineering practices in a dynamic federal environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen Required.
• 2–3 years of working experience in information security or relevant.
• Experience with NIST 800-171 r2 or NIST 800-53.
• Knowledge of US Security requirements.
• Familiarity with policy, standard, procedure and baseline structure.
• Openness to rapid change in business needs, processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day tracking of ATO projects for AFS IT Enterprise Security Engineering Team.
• Document strategies for IESE and Compliance workflows with ITESE lead.
• Implement and interpret ITESE work processes and link to Compliance (ConMon).
• Participate in assessments of controls for applications and document control responses.
• Review control assessments for completeness and escalate issues to team lead.
• Review where Enterprise Standards apply within control reviews and ATO/SIA reviews.
• Create documentation for new processes and update SOPs annually or as needed.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to review requirements and meet service objectives.
• Coordinate meetings with Application Stakeholder teams to gather ATO responses.
• Attend department, tower and other meetings as assigned.
