Job summary

Aleto is seeking a Relocation Project Coordinator for a government client site in Northern Virginia. The role covers the full lifecycle of leased or owned assets, including space planning, design, construction, closeout, and FF&E coordination.

You will oversee furniture installations, coordinate with general contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance for move activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and capable of managing complex relocations with

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain an active HSPD-12 public trust credential.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of project management experience on interior builds and relocations.
• Experience leading projects valued at $500k and 50,000 RSF or more is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, execute, and closeout interior projects to support client brand and workplace strategy.
• Schedule and coordinate project timelines; manage budgets and scopes of work.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and change orders; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate moves from individual relocations to large group shifts.
• Oversee administration, construction mgmt, and turnover to building O&M staff.
• Engage with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain thorough project records and provide status and risk reports.
• Collaborate with on-site contract staff for high-visibility projects.
