Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro in Marysville, OH is seeking a Federal Regulatory Analyst to join the Regulatory Compliance team. This individual contributor role focuses on ensuring the compliant filing of regulatory documents and supporting strategy development and execution.

You will interact with federal and state regulators, assemble and summarize large data sets to inform business decisions, and clearly communicate regulatory requirements, timelines, and risks to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field
• Minimum of 2 years in chemical compliance or data reporting with focus on data integrity, project management and process improvement
• Experience with TSCA, VOCs, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide data and information to support decisions and ensure compliant reporting for new product launches or maintenance
• Contribute to impact assessments on emerging regulations and participate in company positions
• Build relationships with regulators and internal/external stakeholders through clear communication
• Compile and report on complex data sets in accordance with laws and regulations
