Job summary

The Building People is seeking a full-time Program Manager to support our Occupancy Management business unit. You will work with senior leaders in the federal government to drive strategy and execute mission-critical program management.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of program/real estate experience and 5+ years with large real estate organizations. Responsibilities include coordinating programs, communicating with government and staff, and ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables within

Qualifications

• Experience managing multidisciplinary professional services teams.
• Demonstrated experience with federal sector real estate programs.
• Experience supporting multi-tenant office portfolios or facilities exceeding 500,000 square feet.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience managing Department of Commerce contracts a plus.
• Experience with Predictive Index a plus.

Responsibilities

• Tasks will include but are not limited to: ensuring quality work products are produced within timeframes established by the Contract, the performance work statement, and Contracting Officials.
• Serve as the interface focus between government personnel for specific work teams.
• Coordinate the operation and management of assigned programs according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Regularly communicate with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss problems.
• Regularly communicate with staff to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss problems.
• Regularly communicate with management regarding program status and any problems.
• Forecast potential schedule delays and develop alternate plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships based on credibility, trust, and expertise.
