Job summary

American Systems is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee planning, staffing, and delivery of complex programs for government customers. You will partner with the Program Manager to align schedules, budgets, and performance with customer expectations.

The role requires 6–8 years in project management, security clearance, and strong leadership across agile and waterfall environments. Travel to client sites nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6–8 years in project coordination/PM; 4–6 years in technical/federal environment.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive plans, resources, and project delivery.
• Direct and coordinate planning, oversight, and implementation of projects.
• Provide high-level admin support, status reporting, and liaison with customers.
• Develop project requirements and maintain budgets and schedules.
• Identify, document, and escalate project risks and issues.
