Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Federal Project Manager to lead client-facing software implementations in a federal environment. This remote role targets US-based candidates and focuses on managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risks while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.

You will work closely with delivery leaders and clients to resolve issues, support resource planning, and ensure successful project outcomes across federal programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of technology project management experience.
• 3+ years in client-facing project management roles.
• Active Public Trust Security Clearance or ability to pass a PTSC background check.
• Experience in emergency management, government, healthcare, education, defense, aviation, or transportation.
• PMP or similar certification preferred, with a requirement to achieve PMP within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on software implementations and enhancements.
• Manage project scope, budget, and timelines while anticipating and resolving issues.
• Document project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Resolve project issues and conflicts to support successful closure.
• Communicate project progress regularly and manage client expectations.
• Oversee project financials, including budgeting and resource forecasting.
• Collaborate with delivery leaders to align resources with client needs.

For our client, we are seeking a Federal Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will oversee client-facing software implementation and enhancement projects within a federal environment. The position will be responsible for managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risks while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
