Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking an Architecture/Building Engineering Project Manager - Federal Programs to lead complex federal projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect or Engineer with PMI knowledge, capable of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets over $1M to deliver on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes federal procurement, risk management, Design-Build delivery, and client liaison, with mentoring opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Federal Design-Build project experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), or PMP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project management plans per federal requirements.
• Coordinate architectural, engineering, and Design-Build teams for federal clients.
• Lead all PMI-aligned project phases from initiation to closeout.
• Define and control project scope via formal change management.
• Develop detailed schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely deliverables and agency submissions.
• Direct cost estimating, budgeting, and Earned Value Management to stay within funding.
• Collaborate with Design-Build partners to optimize value and efficiency.
• Manage contract administration and coordination with federal officers and partners.
• Establish, maintain QA/QC standards meeting federal regulations.
