B&A is seeking a skilled Buyer to support a federal government contract in Huntsville, Alabama. You will work with a collaborative team to source, negotiate, and manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and company procurement procedures.

Responsibilities include RFQs, supplier selection, price analysis, PO administration, and ensuring material availability for production schedules. The role requires strong communication and ERP/MRP experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience in production or government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and identify qualified suppliers.
• Procure from approved sources and ensure traceability and risk management.
• Perform price analysis and determine price reasonableness.
