Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10 years of process engineering experience.
• Experience with federal clients or defense contractors.
• Credentialing preferred (PE, CCPSC, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP, or ISA CAP).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate processes to improve safety, efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and process narratives.
• Perform mass/energy balances and equipment sizing.
• Prepare equipment specifications and procurement documents.
• Support hazard analyses, safety reviews, and regulatory compliance assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide project teams.
