Job summary

The Corps Network is seeking a full-time Government Relations Manager to collaborate with the Director of Government Relations in our Washington, DC office. You will help execute policy agendas and promote TCN’s objectives to Congress and Federal entities.

You will research laws, draft policy documents, and build partnerships while expanding grassroots engagement across member Corps. A hybrid schedule with in‑person DC presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Experience in Congressional and/or Federal Government Relations and knowledge of legislative/executive processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications, research, and analytical skills.
• Interest in youth and veteran workforce development, public lands, and climate resilience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule with in-office Washington, DC meetings.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact with Congressional staff and Agency staff.
• Track and analyze federal legislation, regulations, hearings, and markups relevant to TCN.
• Develop legislation, amendments, memos, talking points, and policy recommendations.
• Support outreach and advocacy strategies to advance policy objectives.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and coalition work across multiple projects.
