Duties

• Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
• Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforcing protective responsibilities under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Age between 20 and 37 at the time of conditional offer, with exceptions for prior service or veteran's preference.
• Ability to carry and use a firearm, with maintained proficiency.
• Visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular uncorrected, 20/20 or better corrected.
• Hearing ability within specified limits.
• Pass drug tests prior to and during employment.
• Complete training at FLETC and James J. Rowley Training Center.
• Register with the Selective Service System or be exempt (if male and born after December 31, 1959).
