Qualifications

• Foreign education credentials must be evaluated by a private organization and deemed equivalent to U.S. education or full credit given at a U.S. college or university.
• Education completed before appointment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review background investigations conducted by certified agencies (DCSA, OPM, or other ISP).
• Advise security representatives of investigative reports containing unfavorable information affecting suitability/security deliberations.
• Certify that results have been reviewed and a final adjudicative decision reported to OPM.
