Job summary

FSA Federal is seeking a Paralegal III to support the USAO in San Antonio, TX. You will assist AUSAs, review title commitments, prepare declarations of taking, and manage case files, exhibits, and transcripts for depositions and trials.

Ideal candidates hold a two-year degree (or paralegal certificate with related experience) and at least three years of legal-support work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

Two-year degree or equivalent with Paralegal certificate.
Minimum three years of legal support experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and orders.

Responsibilities

Assist AUSAs conducting witness interviews and prepare records for depositions.
Review title commitments for accuracy and create deed history summaries.
Prepare Declarations of Taking Reports, ADT Reports, Complaints, Notices, Motions to Close, and Motions to Suppress; summarize depositions and transcripts; maintain case files and exhibits.
Document landowner complaints and responses in monthly reports.
Support attorneys in courtroom by preparing exhibit cross-references and screening documents for relevance and privilege.
Identify and gather data from various record systems; develop statistics and charts to support litigation.
Design systems for tracking and managing case files, exhibits, and materials.
Other related duties as assigned within scope.
