Qualifications

• Professional clinical nursing experience of 9 years.
• Four years in a specialty area; correctional health care preferred.
• Four years direct clinical patient care; inpatient care preferred.
• Administrative supervisory experience of 3+ years.
• Maintains CPR/BLS certification.
• Obtain CCHP-RN within 2 years of assignment.
• Complete ICE Supervisory Leadership Training within 1 year and Advanced ICE Supervisory Leadership Training within 2 years.
• Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act and correctional nursing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and oversee nursing services at ICE facilities.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards in all nursing activities.
• Coordinate patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff.
• Evaluate nursing care for quality and patient outcomes; propose improvements.
