Job summary

Imagineeer is seeking a graduate student for a Federal Market Research & Business Development Internship in Arlington, VA. You will gain hands-on experience in federal procurement research, opportunities discovery, and outreach to agency offices.

The role supports Imagineeer's growth strategy under the Director of Brand and Growth and provides a portfolio of briefs and pipeline analyses. The internship requires 20 hours per week from mid-October 2026 through March 31, 2027, with training in SBA

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in business, public policy, public administration, data analytics, or a related field
• Strong research, writing, and spreadsheet skills
• Professional phone and email communication
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Available 20 hours per week from mid-October 2026 through March 31, 2027

Responsibilities

• Complete federal market research training.
• Research opportunities across SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, FPDS, and state portals.
• Qualify opportunities using a scorecard and write briefs for pursuing opportunities.
• Analyze recompetes and the competitive landscape for target agencies.
• Assess partner fit and identify teaming opportunities.
• Conduct agency outreach to OSDBU, small business specialists, and SBA representatives.
• Maintain an events calendar and recommend attendee participants.
• Log research and outreach in a tracker and help prepare pipeline briefings.
