Job summary

LAC Federal seeks a Learning Management System Administrator to lead the administration, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of a federal LMS serving corrections professionals nationwide. The role oversees platform operations, content management, user experience, troubleshooting, and reporting, collaborating with instructional designers, government personnel, and technical vendors.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a related field and at least five years of LMS

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in LMS administration.
• Experience designing and updating LMS navigation, content organization, and interfaces.
• Experience training LMS users and creating instructional materials and guides.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting system performance and corrective actions.
• Experience in project management, leadership, and communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the LMS ensuring reliable operation and accessibility.
• Design and implement improvements to navigation, content organization, and user interfaces.
• Coordinate LMS troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Develop learning programs using instructional design and technology strategies.
• Maintain learning content and support course delivery, implementation, and evaluation.
• Create training materials, guides, and user support documentation.
• Conduct user training and provide technical assistance.
• Produce LMS performance reports, usage statistics, and management information.
• Coordinate with vendors, technical staff, and government stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and strategic recommendations concerning learning technology.
