Office of the Solicitor, Rocky Mountain Region, seeks an Attorney Advisor to provide legal research, advice, and representation to the Bureau of Land Management on federal land management matters. The position involves written and oral opinions, potential appearances in administrative hearings, and collaboration with DOJ and other agencies.

Responsibilities include advisory services to leadership, complex statutory interpretation, and ensuring compliance with applicable law.

Qualifikationen

• Active bar membership is required for all attorneys engaged in the practice of law.
• Legal research, analysis and advisory responsibilities.
• Experience in administrative hearings or appeals is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Provide written and oral opinions on Federal Administrative Law topics.
• Represent BLM in administrative hearings or appeals as needed.
• Advise BLM leadership and program managers on complex legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and develop recommendations for client agencies and DOJ counsel.
• Assist with compliance with FOIA/Privacy Act and other statutory requirements.
