Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an IT Security Auditor to lead stakeholder engagement and deliver IT controls assessments for federal agencies. The role analyzes IT control weaknesses, identifies root causes, and develops remediation plans in a security-conscious, collaborative team environment.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field plus 2+ years of IT consulting experience with federal clients is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT consulting with federal government clients
• Understanding of FISMA, NIST SP 800, FISCAM guidance
• Ability to analyze IT control weaknesses and root causes

Responsibilities

• Perform IT controls assessments using industry-standard guidance
• Lead interviews with client stakeholders (ISSOs, system administrators)
• Review documents and artifacts (SSPs, SOPs, audit logs, scans) for IT controls testing
• Evaluate IT controls against federal requirements and best practices
• Document testing results for review and audit
• Summarize assessment results to senior leadership
• Identify root causes and develop remediation plans
• Provide subject matter expertise on IT security and assurance
• Respond to ad-hoc IT security requests
• Plan and execute day-to-day IT assessments for the team
• Mentor junior team members
