Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Continuity Manager to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of business continuity (BC) and IT disaster recovery (ITDR) capabilities across federal operations.

You will conduct business impact analyses and risk assessments, design plans aligned with NIST, ISO, and ITIL, and coordinate tabletop exercises, tests, and readiness reviews with IT, cybersecurity, and governance teams, delivering audit-ready reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, IT, or emergency management.
• 8+ years in business continuity, disaster recovery, IT operations, or risk management with ownership of programs.
• Solid understanding of BC/DR principles, risk assessments, BIA, and ITIL.
• Proven ability to document and maintain continuity plans and coordinate recovery activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present readiness information to leadership.
• Active SECRET security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise continuity and IT disaster recovery policies, standards, and playbooks.
• Perform business impact analyses and risk assessments identifying critical functions and recovery objectives.
• Coordinate creation and maintenance of continuity and recovery plans across applications, infrastructure, facilities, and vendors.
• Plan and evaluate tabletop exercises, simulations, and failover tests; drive remediation with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT operations, cybersecurity, incident response, and vendors to integrate resilience requirements into projects.
• Produce metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership and audit stakeholders.
• Lead investigations following incidents and guide root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
