Akumen, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects in a federal government environment. You will work with government stakeholders, technical teams, Project Managers, and Systems Engineers to align priorities with customer requirements.

This role emphasizes planning, change control, testing coordination, documentation, and SharePoint administration, with a focus on maintaining program artifacts and service delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or IT Management.
• PMP certification is required.
• 4+ years IT project experience.
• 3+ years writing technical documents.
• 3+ years client-facing experience; federal clients preferred.
• Knowledge of IT program and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and execution with objectives, schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with government customers, dev teams, systems engineers, and stakeholders.
• Manage change control, baselines, and stakeholders communications.
• Coordinate testing schedules, issue tracking, and documentation.
• Monitor service delivery, SLAs, and IT metrics for improvements.
• Develop and maintain program and technical documentation, SOPs, status reports, and guides.
• Support SharePoint administration and document repositories.
