Job summary

Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC is seeking an IT Mission Analyst to support a DOJ project and evaluate IT controls, governance, and compliance across the organization. The role requires coordinating with federal stakeholders, interviewing executives, and delivering actionable recommendations for risk reduction and process improvement.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years supporting federal agencies, relevant certifications (Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, CBAP), and a strong background in IT governance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting federal agencies or defense organizations.
• Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Prosci Change Management, and CBAP.
• Knowledge of FITARA, OMB A-11/A-130, FISMA, TIC 3.0, FedRAMP, Section 508, and Zero Trust.
• Familiarity with NIST, ITIL, PMI, and GAO best practices.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assess efficiency of business procedures by examining internal controls and data quality management.
• Identify weaknesses in controls, governance deficiencies, and risks affecting operations or compliance.
• Review IT operations including infrastructure, development, support, dashboards, PM, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct structured interviews with IT executives, stakeholders, and teams.
• Analyze performance metrics, incident counts, changes, and project delivery.
