Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an IT Advisory Manager to lead IT risk and controls engagements for federal agencies. You will guide teams, perform rigorous control assessments, and develop remediation plans with senior client stakeholders.

The role requires ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph, a DoD 8570-M IAT III path inside 90 days, and a strong background in information security, assurance, or IT audit within government contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 6+ years in IT consulting with focus on IT risk and controls.
• Experience with federal government clients and security standards (FISMA, NIST SP 800, FISCAM).
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M (IAT III) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT security auditors in IT risk and controls assessments.
• Perform rigorous assessments using leading practices and artifacts.
• Document test results for repeatable reviews and outcomes.
• Summarize assessment results to senior client stakeholders.
• Plan and execute day-to-day IT controls assessment activities.
• Provide SME guidance on IT controls and remediation planning.
