Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking professionals to support our Department of War client in Tysons Corner, VA across multiple levels including Consultant II, Senior Consultant, Managing Consultant/Manager, and Associate Director.

The team will document current state processes, perform site visits, identify financial and fraud risks, and partner with leadership on control remediation and process improvements to safeguard federal funds. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Federal audit remediation experience required.
• Experience in business process mapping and internal controls testing.
• Experience with risk assessments and accelerated audit strategies.
• Background in accounting, audit, budget, finance, or internal controls.
• Experience in process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Document current state processes and controls.
• Conduct site visits and walkthroughs.
• Identify financial and fraud risks proactively.
• Partner with senior leadership on control remediation.
• Lead process documentation, SOPs, and review methodologies.
• Conduct control reviews over cash disbursements.
