Job summary

Guidehouse seeks Financial Management, Internal Controls, Fraud Risk, and Business Process Improvement experts for DoD/Federal work in San Antonio, TX. Roles include Consultant II through Associate Director with onsite expectations and travel up to 25%.

Must obtain/maintain a Secret clearance; Bachelor’s degree and 2–10+ years of federal experience are required. Strong background in accounting, internal controls, and process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ to 10+ years of federal audit remediation and related experience.
• Experience with accounting, audit, budget, finance, internal controls and process improvement.
• Willingness to travel and onsite work required.

Responsibilities

• Document current state processes and controls, conduct site visits and walkthroughs, identify risks, and partner with leadership on remediation.
• Lead business process documentation, flowcharts, SOPs, and review methodologies to safeguard Federal funds.
• Conduct control reviews over cash disbursements to support standardized processes.
• Strengthen documentation, controls, and audit trails over funds and processes.
• Advise senior Federal stakeholders to deliver outcomes in financial management, audit readiness, and risk reporting.
