Job summary

SJS Executives is seeking experienced HVAC/AC Mechanics for an upcoming contract in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama, supporting ongoing maintenance operations at two federal medical facilities.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare settings, with ability to read schematics and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or healthcare settings.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including filters, coils, lubrication, and operation checks.
• Inspect equipment for wear, inefficiencies, and issues; diagnose and repair.
• Repair/replace motors, compressors, thermostats, belts, bearings, and related components.
• Monitor central air systems for proper temperature, humidity, and ventilation control.
• Maintain indoor air quality and respond to service calls as needed.
• Coordinate with facilities to support continuous building operations, while following safety regs.
