Job summary

SJS Executives, LLC is seeking experienced HVAC/AC mechanics for an upcoming contract at two federal medical facilities in Montgomery and Tuskegee, Alabama. The pay includes an hourly rate of $25.32 plus a health and welfare allowance of $5.42, totaling $30.74 per hour.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems, motors, and compressors. Strong safety and Real ID requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Real ID required.
• 3+ years HVAC maintenance experience in commercial/institutional/healthcare settings.
• Experience preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Experience repairing motors, compressors, thermostats, and related components.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, heating, humidity control, and indoor air quality systems.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to wear PPE and comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including filters, coils, lubrication, and operation checks.
• Inspect HVAC equipment for wear, inefficiencies, and possible issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC malfunctions.
• Repair or replace motors, compressors, thermostats, belts, and related components.
• Monitor and maintain central air systems for temperature, humidity, and ventilation control.
• Maintain indoor air quality and proper ventilation operation.
• Respond to service calls and perform corrective maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with facilities and other departments to support continuous operations.
• Adhere to federal safety regulations and site procedures.
