Job summary

NVE, Inc. is looking for an HVAC Mechanic to support an O&M contract for a federal agency in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, a journeyman HVAC license, and be skilled in installation, service, and repairs. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, understanding written instructions, and working closely with team members and customers. This is a Union Position with competitive compensation, requiring US citizenship or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• Must have three years of journeyman level experience in HVAC.
• Ability to read Architectural and Manufacturing blueprints.
• Must be a US Citizen or a permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Install and repair HVAC systems.
• Respond to service requests and perform emergency repairs.
