Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking an experienced HR Policy Leader to support federal government policy development, interpretation, and implementation.

You will analyze current HR processes, identify standardization opportunities, and propose enhancements across multi‑agency operations. The role includes guiding staff, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering clear policy documents.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in federal government human resources policy analysis or related role.
Experience supporting federal HR programs within a large, multi‑organization environment.
Ability to travel as required by client needs.
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to develop policy documents.

Responsibilities

Lead for federal government HR policy specialist roles supporting development, review, interpretation, and implementation of HR policies.
Analyze existing federal HR processes and identify opportunities for standardization and improvement.
Propose enhancements to future HR operations related to data migration and system integration.
Serve as liaison across stakeholders to identify problems and develop solutions.
Oversee policy impacts assessments and enterprise-wide HR initiatives for regulatory compliance.
Guide junior staff and ensure timely, high‑quality policy deliverables.
Develop clear policy documents and support rollout and communication with HR offices.
Monitor policy implementation and identify areas for process optimization.
