Job summary

IQ Sig, LLC is seeking a seasoned Federal Human Resources Specialist to support the Secretariat for Special Operations and related offices. The role focuses on civilian staffing actions, position classification, and coordination with WHS and other federal service providers.

You will maintain staffing trackers, provide leadership with hiring updates, and serve as a liaison between employees, leadership, and HR partners while ensuring compliance with federal procedures and GS guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of federal civilian HR experience
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Hands-on experience supporting federal civilian staffing and personnel actions within DoD/DoW, Fourth Estate, OSW, or equivalent HQ federal organization
• Working knowledge of federal civilian hiring processes, RPAs, and personnel action lifecycles
• Experience coordinating with federal HR shared service providers, such as WHS
• Knowledge of GS positions and civilian personnel administration
• Ability to track multiple personnel actions, maintain accurate records, and provide leadership with staffing status updates
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Federal Civilian Staffing & Personnel Actions: Coordinate and track staffing actions, RPAs, personnel changes, and related processes
• Manage RPA packages throughout staffing lifecycle with accurate documentation
• Monitor hiring progress with WHS and other shared service providers
• Support civilian position classification activities and related documentation
• Maintain understanding of federal hiring procedures, GS positions, and Fourth Estate processes
• Staffing Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain trackers for all staffing actions
• Monitor timelines, requirements, statuses, and delays
• Provide leadership with recruitment activity updates
• Identify bottlenecks and coordinate solutions
• Ensure staffing records are organized and accessible
• HR Operations & Employee Support: Serve as primary contact for civilian personnel questions
• Manage HR inbox and route inquiries
• Liaise with shared service providers on benefits, pay, and actions
• Support employee relations and follow-up with HR services
• Provide professional, responsive, customer-focused support
• Recruitment Coordination & Administrative Support: Coordinate interview panels and scheduling
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and personnel requirements
• Review packages for completeness and compliance
• Anticipate staffing needs and communicate timelines
• Support process improvements for efficiency
• HR Systems & Process Management: Use Oracle HRIS and other systems for tracking
• Maintain HR data, trackers, and reports
• Leverage Excel, SharePoint, and collaboration tools
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve workflows
