Job summary

Oracle Health Government Services seeks a Federal Senior Engineer/Architect to lead engineering activities for the Federal EHR deployments across the United States. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and client partners to ensure successful design, integration, and delivery of the Federal EHR solutions.

The role demands hands-on engineering leadership with experience in VA/DoD projects, Oracle Health Cerner apps, and cloud technologies, while navigating a secure, government-focused

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience leading engineering projects with multiple teams.
• 3rd party vendor management and engineering project management experience.
• Federal EHR (VA and/or DoD) engineering and deployment experience.
• Federal Cyber understanding/experience.
• Engineering experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Applications/Platforms.
• Engineering experience with Cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities across design scope, schedule, and objectives.
• Evaluate existing and proposed systems to determine requirements and integration needs.
• Assist with Federal EHR deployments across the United States for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Design and develop solutions to integrate applications between Oracle Health and federal client systems.
• Create and document visual representations of systems and data flows; partner with teams to implement integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, and client stakeholders; automate manual tasks where possible.
• Ensure work products meet or exceed quality requirements.
• Monitor work, anticipate issues, and support staffing and interviews.
