Job summary

TSABAA is seeking a Financial Analyst in Austin, TX to perform complex financial analysis, reporting, grant management and reconciliations for federally funded nutrition programs. You will handle large data sets and work with initiative and judgment under limited supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring grant performance, monthly reconciliations, preparing USDA reports, and developing budgets and ad-hoc reports for management. Telework is not offered; on-site work in Austin is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; one year of related work experience may substitute for one year of college.
• Minimum three years in finance, accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review payment data and monitor federal grants’ financial performance.
• Reconcile grant awards monthly to ensure accurate accounting.
• Prepare federal grant reports for USDA.
• Develop periodic budget and financial reports including journals and projections.
• Assist in grant management of federal awards.
