The candidate should bring 2–5 years FP/LS experience, a related engineering degree, and openness to up to 50% travel to project sites for inspections and surveys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical, Civil or related field.
• 2–5 years FP/LS design, reviews, surveys, inspections, or related engineering services.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and documents for fire protection life safety code compliance.
• Perform technical reviews of building plans to ensure Life Safety Code and NFPA standards compliance.
• Conduct FP/LS surveys and site assessments at facilities and construction sites.
• Perform field inspections to verify materials, installation methods and workmanship.
• Review sprinkler designs and hydraulic calculations for accuracy and code compliance.
• Evaluate fire alarm systems, gas suppression, smoke control and other fire protection features.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection findings and project records.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding fire protection requirements.
• Support design through construction, testing and commissioning phases.
