CGI in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Business Analyst to support a large-scale government enterprise financial management system.

You will help improve financial operations by gathering clear requirements, analyzing data, and coordinating tests with clients and technical teams. The role emphasizes financial reconciliation, detailed data analysis, and the translation of business needs into actionable specifications across functional and technical teams, with active involvement in UAT and defect

Qualifications

• Experience supporting financial or ERP systems, ideally within government or regulated environments.
• Strong financial reconciliation skills with understanding of financial data structures.
• Proficient in data analysis using Excel, SQL queries, or embedded reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reconciliations across modules with accuracy and traceability.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies and root causes.
• Elicit, document, and validate requirements; translate into actionable specs.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support defect triage and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with clients through meetings, sessions, and status updates.
• Prepare documentation including workflows, test results, and job aids.
• Assist with production support tasks and data validation.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements across the financial system lifecycle.
• Align work with FRMS processes and program expectations.
