Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Three years' experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements.
• Three years' experience with budget execution during a fiscal-year budget cycle.
• Three years' experience presenting status-of-funds information to management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Process financial documents and transactions using UFMS.
• Review accounting practices for compliance with federal laws and regulations, including the Single Audit Act.
• Review accounting practices for compliance with GAAP and applicable OMB circulars.
• Identify corrective actions related to improper or unauthorized expenditures and accounting of funds.
• Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws and program policies.
• Support budget execution throughout the fiscal-year budget cycle.
• Track and analyze financial information to support effective management of funds.
• Prepare status-of-funds information and reports for higher-level management.
• Present financial information and funding status to management.
• Prepare financial documentation, reports, presentations, and related materials.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, to organize, analyze, track, and present financial information.
