Job summary

Valiantys Federal is seeking a Finance Manager to own the U.S. accounting function end-to-end, acting as the financial backbone for the U.S. government contracting business.

This hands-on role will run the monthly close, strengthen controls, and partner with the business on FP&A, while leading a finance transformation including a G/L migration from Great Plains to NetSuite. U.S. citizenship and location within the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Active US CPA designation in good standing.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with 2–3 years leading or owning a close end-to-end process.
• Experience operating in a multi-entity, cross-border environment and working in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the U.S. accounting close end-to-end for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and a clean audit trail for material accounts.
• Lead external audit coordination and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Drive FP&A activities with budgeting, reforecasting, and executive reporting.
• Oversee tax compliance operations, including sales and corporate tax with Avalara integration.
