Job summary

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in Detroit is seeking a finance/procurement professional to support the Detroit Field Division's Finance and Procurement Unit Chief. You will service, maintain, and resolve issues related to complex funding sources and assist in budget-related functions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07 with complex financial duties.
• Education: Master’s or higher; or PhD with relevant finance/accounting background.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience may apply per OPM standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Detroit Field Division Finance and Procurement Unit Chief with funding source management.
• Process and monitor financial transactions; respond to inquiries; ensure compliance and safeguarding of funds.
• Review documents for budget limits, completeness, and accuracy of financial data.
