Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking an energetic Project Manager for Environmental Restoration based in San Antonio, TX. You will lead cleanup projects supporting Federal, state, and municipal agencies, with primary focus on US Army Environmental Command work.

The role combines on-site supervision with some remote flexibility and close client collaboration. Ideal candidates have strong project management skills, regulatory knowledge (CERCLA/RCRA/NEPA), and experience with Federal programs.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, or PG license with relevant environmental experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Biology, Ecology, Chemistry, Natural Resources.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage environmental remediation projects from conception to completion.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project goals.
• Conduct site assessments, analyze data, and propose solutions for environmental hazards.
• Provide guidance on environmental best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, site investigations, and related QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate field activities and client communication across sites nationwide.
