Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned consultant to lead risk-management and internal-control workstreams for a Federal Civilian Agency project in Arlington. You will support A-123 documentation, testing readiness, evidence validation, corrective action tracking, and audit response packages.

You will analyze operational, financial, and compliance risks, develop risk summaries and management briefings, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytical and reporting

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required; active Public Trust preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of consulting, audit, risk management, internal controls, or federal delivery experience.
• Experience supporting OMB Circular A-123, internal control assessments, or audit readiness.
• Strong understanding of federal risk management, audit support, and evidence management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for audit-ready deliverables.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work in a Guidehouse Office or Client Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams for a Federal Civilian Agency client across risk management, internal controls, audit readiness, compliance, and oversight activities.
• Support OMB Circular A-123 control documentation, testing readiness, evidence validation, corrective action tracking, and audit response packages.
• Analyze operational, financial, and compliance risks; develop risk summaries, issue logs, and management briefings.
• Coordinate with program, financial, data, and compliance stakeholders to strengthen risk practices and deliver high-quality analyses and reports.
