Job summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Electrician for the FBI CRC in Winchester, VA. The role involves electrical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and limited installation in a secure federal facility under the Local 99 CBA.

Strong emphasis on safety and compliance with codes and contract procedures. Candidates must hold a Virginia Journeyman Electrician License, 4+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to operate MEWPs and forklifts safely on site.

Qualifications

Must have Top Secret clearance or eligible for clearance.
Virginia Journeyman Electrician License is required; testing certifications may be considered.
Minimum of four years electrical experience in relevant facilities or government operations.
Ability to safely operate MEWPs and forklifts per site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical distribution, lighting, panels, and related system maintenance and repair.
Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation to troubleshoot issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections per site program and codes.
Test and verify electrical system performance using multimeters, clamp meters, and megohmmeters.
Communicate status, safety concerns, and progress to supervision and stakeholders.
