Job summary

Jacobs in Boston, MA seeks a Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary design projects for DoD clients, from kickoff through construction. The role supports Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery, with a focus on delivering on time and within budgets.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate across engineering and architecture teams, and ensure quality through Jacobs' processes. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to collaborate across East Coast offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional Registration (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) preferred; PMI Certification considered.
• Experience as a client-facing Design Project Manager managing multiple disciplines.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering on time and within budgets and scope.
• Serving as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Developing scopes and fee proposals and negotiating with clients.
• Creating communication plans and conducting regular status reviews with teams and clients.
• Monitoring project financials, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Overseeing documentation quality per Jacobs Quality Program.
